Pharmacist in Charge · Licensed by the Georgia Board of Pharmacy
Mahlet Wole, PharmD, is the pharmacist behind The Georgia Pharmacy.
Dr. Wole brings ten years of pharmacy practice across clinic, classroom and retail settings to Woodstock. As Pharmacist in Charge, this is her pharmacy to run: she will verify every prescription, lead the pharmacy team, keep its records and counsel patients directly.
She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and holds bachelor's and associate degrees in chemistry from Georgia State University. She is licensed by the Georgia Board of Pharmacy.
Her practice spans ambulatory care with Kaiser Permanente in Atlanta, clinical services leadership with Walmart Pharmacy, interim operations leadership at a behavioral health and long-term care pharmacy, and four years directing the pharmacology and therapeutics course at Morehouse School of Medicine, where she trained physician assistant and medical students.
Her clinical work centers on medication safety: reconciling therapies, catching interactions, resolving dosing problems and helping patients manage chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension and high cholesterol. She is certified in immunization administration and Basic Life Support.
